Kettlebells

The kettlebell swing is a movement that requires the body to use multiple muscle groups.

When many different muscles are being used during one exercise,

 

the caloric expenditure is going to increase dramatically. Kettlebell training is considered an anaerobic

workout because it cannot be done for an extended duration

During this kettlebell workout you can burn an average of 300-350 calories.

 

This is equivalent to running a six-minute mile. The closest activity to kettlebell training is cross country skiing.

 

In 10 minutes, a 80kg. man burns 106 calories while a 55kg. woman burns 80 calories.

Kettlebell training can burn a large amount of calories in a short amount of time.
